I haven't been working on this for a few days. I just wanted to post progress made thus far. I have been knitting a commissioned piece and hope to be done with that tomorrow. It's taken me far more time than usual since I'm sick.
Hi, thanks for the link for the round ripple pattern - I came in search of it after seeing your post and pic on the ripple-along today. It's gorgeous! Nice job.
I see you had the same thing that's going around here in WI - I just did a course of Z-Pak and am on to Augmentin now... (found out from a pharma rep that Z-Pak is not the greatest thing for URIs, so hopefully this new one will do something...) We all had three weeks of sore throats and coughing (viral) followed by (bacterial) sinus and respiratory infections - UGH! What a looooong time to be under the weather! Hope you are MUCH better now - and if not, maybe ask for Augmentin! ggg
One last question - your blog photo is just awesome, and my coloring is very much like yours... may I ask what brand of makeup you use? Hope that's not to impolite of me...
Have a GREAT day! Stasia in WI http://yarnandabarn.blogspot.com
I have rosacea, too - have gotten great control over it by taking fish oil pills (essential fatty acids) after prescriptions didn't help. But I won't give up spicy Indian food. ;) Good luck!
I just found the web site will all these beautiful ripple afghans. I been crocheting for 50 years and this is the first time I seen them in the round. I love your pattern it is beautiful and colors are great. I would love to get this pattern but, it seems that the pdf files don't work.
Sorry about that Carol. I know that if you put your cursor over the link it says file not found but try to double click on it. I went to the site where I store my pdf and reloaded it. Please email me (mikknits AT yahoo DOT com) if you have problems with that.
Mik I was able to download your pattern. Thank you. I love the new looks in ripple patterns it is one of my favorites to make. I see the picture you have of a bright beautiful ripple in the round pic dated 3/21/2007 is that the same pattern you posted? I love making my patterns too and using bright colors to change the look of afghans. These would make great pillows too. I look forward to see what you do next.

I really like the colours in that blanket.
Thanks so much for your note.
